In the worldwide Bahá'í community the study circle has become a popular and effective method of learning. A group of people come together with a tutor to work through a book, which contains passages and questions on a particular topic. Groups will consider how the material studied applies in their own lives, and there is scope for members to express their learning artistically. In addition to studying together the group takes on an act of service. Six study circle courses are available in the US, and can all be taken in Dane County. The first book in the series is entitled 'Reflections on the Life of the Spirit' and focuses particularly on the topics of prayer, and life after death. Anyone can join a Study Circle. New ones are starting up all the time.
